Leicester/Sandy Mush Drive 2023
Kudos to Dewey and Tani for a lovely drive through and around Leicester. Great scenic escape, twisty roads and refreshing breezes followed by lunch at Lazy Goat and capped off by a wonderful dessert spread back at the Parker hilltop homestead (what views!)
It was great enjoying a fun day other with BCCWNC members. Thanks again.

We would also like to express our appreciation to Dewey and Tani for the delightful day. What could possibly be better than enjoying lunch in good company after traversing the countryside in our beloved motors. Let us not forget the desserts; I nearly had to arm wrestle Janet for a slice of the chocolate gateau, but heaved a sigh of relief as there was plenty for all of us. Phew!!

10 of us met up in Mills River and drove the 191 north together just to get the day started.
All I/we can add is "let's do this drive/lunch/dessert again when it's a tad cooler" : )
We racked up 108 miles in total - just a little too hot going home without AC, but... a big one to remember.

Thanks to Dewey Parker & Tani Reeves for a great drive Saturday thru the beautiful hills and countryside of the Sandy Mush area of Leicester.
