22nd Annual Autumn in the Mountains, September 24, 2022

Showcasing cars and motorcycle brands “manufactured” in the British Isles and Europe
and featuring the 60th Anniversary of the MGB and Triumph Spitfire!

Pre-registration opens here July 15, 2022 and closes September 9, 2022.

First car registration will be $30, second car and more will be $25. Motorcycles will be $20.
You will receive 5 Raffle Tickets – for cash prizes, a Dash Plaque and a pre-printed Windscreen Placard in your pre-registration packet.

Due to the success of the 2021 show, we strongly suggest that you pre-register.
We are limiting the total number of cars in a class to 40.
Day-of-Show registration and show field parking may be limited.

Normally, show shirts have been delivered to you on the day-of-show.
This year we’ve worked with a vendor to make men’s, women’s and long sleeve limited edition show T-shirts
>> available for purchase HERE and delivered directly to your home << by the end of July.

All funds raised from T-shirt sales will be paid by the vendor directly to
British Car Club of Western North Carolina for our 22nd Annual Autumn in the Mountains event.

The event is free for spectators. Ample and easily accessible parking will be available. This is a Rain or Shine event.

2022 Preliminary Information

Classes are: British, Italian, German, Other European, Motorcycle
British car classes will be based on pre-registrations. The featured marques of MGB and Triumph Spitfire will each have separate classes for Chrome and Rubber bumper models. Classes will be limited to 40 cars.

Event parking will be organized by marque (make/brand)
3 cars make a class, 1st & 2nd place awards per class, peer judging for awards, Best of Show will also be awarded.

Food service is available from JUJU’s Craft Cookery fixed food truck from 11:00am. The brewery building also opens at 11:00am.

7:30am: Vendor Set-up Open
8:30am: Pre-registered Participant Parking Opens
9:00am: On-site Registration Opens / Event Open to the Public
9:30am: Welcome and Donor Recognition
Noon: Automobile & Motorcycle Class Voting Opens
Noon: First Raffle Prize Winner Announced ($100 cash) – must be present to win
1:30pm: Automobile & Motorcycle Class Voting Closes
2:00pm: Second Raffle Prize Winner Announced ($250 cash) – must be present to win
2:30-3:00pm: Automobile & Motorcycle Class Awards Ceremony
3:30pm: Show Closes

Please note for your safety and comfort
No outside alcohol is allowed. Beer, food, and other beverages can be ordered inside and behind the Mills River Brewing building. No overnight parking in the show area.


2021 Autumn in the Mountains

On Saturday, September 25, 2021 we held a little car show.
200 cars and motorcycles on the field at Mills River Brewing Co.
We lost count of the people. Amazing day.
Now we are planning for September 24, 2022.
Thanks to everyone who participated, the show committee and all the day-of-show volunteers.
