Question: How many states can you see from the top of Clingman’s Dome?
Answer: Seven, but we will only experience three on this trip unless some of us get more adventurous!

The Townsend Gateway Inn in Townsend, TN will be our home base May 2-3-4-5.

Check out their well-done web page as there is a lot off information there.

The inn has reserved 25 rooms for us at affordable rates of approximately $125 per day. Call Amanda (865-238-0123) ASAP and reference “British Car Club”. Time is running out on this available discount. The unclaimed rooms were released on April1, but ask anyway. I have been told that the Inn will quickly fill up.

For evenings, there is a gathering place fire pit for spirited BS (BYOB). There are some chairs and benches, but if possible bring some with you.

Locate Townsend, TN at the top of the map.

Here is a partial list of some of the beautiful fun roads we will travel and places we can visit:

As the date gets closer I will have more information about a probable catered dinner (approximately $25 pp) on Saturday evening at the Inn.

I don’t intend to have a train of followers each day, but I do intend to plan the first day’s ride from the Greenville area to the Townsend Gateway Inn.

So many roads, so much available sightseeing, and great fun to be had with FBCC/BCCWNC cars and people!

Contact me directly if you have questions and want to go, but get those Inn reservations made as time is running out.
