Leaving from Ingles Flat Rock 10:45 AM sharp we’ll be heading to the Copper Penny Grill in Rutherfordton, NC for lunch. After lunch we’ll drive a short 5.3 miles (10 minutes) to Denny Trask’s Fine Line Auto Works where Denny will give us an overview of projects he has in the works, and the various tools he uses in his trade.

Overall this event is “less of a drive and more of a destination“. We’ll be traveling over modern highways rather than twisty Carolina back roads in an effort to limit the drive time to 45 minutes, so feel free to show up in your everyday driver rather than your classic British money pit.

This is a rain or shine event:
If you prefer you can just show up at the Copper Penny (in Rutherfordton, not the one in Forest City) at 11:40 AM. Lunch is capped at 24 people. If you DO plan to join us for lunch please RSVP so that we can provide the restaurant with a head count.
Otherwise you can just show up at Fine Line around 1:30 PM and forego the drive from Flat Rock.
