Arrive at Ingles, Flat Rock (Upward Road) by 10:15 for departure at 10:30 sharp. The route takes us down 176 through Saluda and Tryon, over Hogback Mountain Road off Route 14 in Landrum, past the peach orchards of Hyder Farms. We’ll wind our way back along the shores of Lake Lanier (yes, in Landrum/Tryon, not Atlanta) and conclude with lunch at Brooks Tavern, 10 Oak St. Tryon, NC 28782. The drive should take about an hour. With any luck Mother Nature will cooperate and we’ll drive past some beautiful scenery with peach blossoms aplenty. Sorry, no rain date; an announcement will be made 2 days ahead in case of cancellation.

Brooks Tavern can accommodate a group of 18 so be sure to sign up if you’re interested. Registration will close when we reach 18.
