The drive is set for Tuesday February 7. Arrive at the “Rosman Park & Ride on US 64” by 11:30am – FBCC should be there by 11:45am
It’s that time again! We’ll meet the FBCC (Foothills British Car Club) members at the “Rosman Park & Ride on US 64”. We may decide to meet up elsewhere and caravan down to Rosman (so stay tuned). From highway 64 we’ll take 215 over the Blue Ridge Parkway and on up to the Jukebox Junction diner at the junction of 215 and 276.
If you want to meet up with the Foothills group earlier, they are leaving the Holly Springs Country Store at 11:00am and heading up the 178 to Rosman.
After lunch we’ll head down 276 to the 64/280 junction. You can head home from there or we may decide to regroup somewhere after the 276 and 64 junction (stay tuned).
We encourage ALL of you with two-way radios to bring them. We’ll be on Channel 5 for this run. We usually get pretty strung out so the leader is out of range from the tail-end-charlies. It’s important, therefore, for the middle-burgs to relay messages both ways.
We’ll be sending out more info as the event draws nigh so do stay tuned and, in the mean time, dig out those long johns, find your electric mittens and scrape the rodent nests out of your engine bays ‘cause we’re going Polar Bear Safety Fast!!
