Nearly 20 BCCWNC members and guests gathered for a BYOM (Bring Your Own Meat) BBQ and summer get together on Friday, 22 June, at John & Jeanne Condren’s home. Joining the party were four (4) new club members! The first arrival (Scott Monfort) parked his shiny MGB at 3:00pm and officially started the party. Fearless Club President, Mitch Andrus, was the last to arrive (about 6:30pm) in his top-down MGA but had to quickly enjoy dinner … as the weather radar showed bright yellow, orange and red storms approaching the community of Dana (just east of Hendersonville). Most members who brought their British cars headed home about 7:00pm and, sure enough, the rain rolled-in at 7:30pm, although only a light amount. A few people stayed and sat through the brief rain storm and then enjoyed the evening by the fire-pit. The gathering officially shut-down at 9:15pm. It was a great evening and John hopes to make this an annual event.
