It was a typical British morning with clouds and light showers that turned into a nice day by noon. John Condren did an outstanding job of hosting the event with a fine drive and poker run including a stop at the Justus Orchard. The orchard offered fun for the grown-up “kids” in our club playing on the Jumping Pilliow – Alvan Judson, Terry Ramsey and Paul Zimmerman. Apples, Peaches and Blackberries were available for purchase. Then, more scenic driving to a wonderful social event at the Burntshirt winery with a wine tasting and tour. The three highest poker hands received a bottle of Burntshirt wine. An excellent BCCWNC outing.
