Terry Ramsey put together an outstanding drive for his Troyer event this year. 20 cars turned out and we spilt into two groups. Terry led one group and David Wood led the other. They took us on a pretty drive from Fletcher to Lake Lure and then out Highway 9 to Fairview. A big bccwnc thank you to Terry and David. June 13 was the perfect day to get our British cars out for some exercise. The route included North Bear Wallow Road east of Hendersonville. It offered smooth pavement with a twisty run up to Bear Wallow Mountain and back down to the apple orchards. 18 cars and 24 members turned out for the event. Just what we needed to relieve cabin fever. Photos by Joyce Young, Terry Ramsey, Gene Carter, Scott Jones, Robert Milks and Mitch Andrus.
We had a great turnout for this year’s drive with 18 cars and 27 members and guests. The weather was cloudy with moderate temperatures but the rain held off. Our route went from west Asheville into Hot Springs, NC with a stop at Trust General Store & Cafe. Then we headed back along the French Broad River finishing with lunch at White Duck Taco on Riverside Drive in Asheville. Thank you Tray Houston for hosting this event.
