The British Car Club of Western North Carolina serves as the principle voice of the British Car enthusiast in Western North Carolina. Our purpose is to promote education, information and enjoyment of British cars of all makes, models and vintage. Ownership of a British car is not required, just an interest in these fascinating vehicles. New British cars are welcome, including new Mini Coopers, Jaguars, Land Rovers, and any other new British make. Older vintage British Cars are cherished. Each and every member has a vote on policy. The officers are elected by the membership and may offer themselves for re-election by the membership at the December meeting. The finances of BCCWNC are open to all at any time.
Members receive technical, moral and physical support from members, and there are several experts in the group. Work sessions on members' cars are always popular and informative. Family oriented activities are promoted, in an effort to encourage the next generations to nurture and participate in the hobby we believe to be classic and enduring. A range of high quality regalia is offered, including name tags and cloth patches.
The picturesque mountains of Western North Carolina are home to some of the most magical driving roads in the United States. For many years, out on the back roads in the scenic countryside of these environs, sports car fans have enjoyed the vistas and the variety found around the next bend and over the next hill. The BCCWNC takes advantage of these assets with monthly drives and outings during the warmer months, group participation in shows in the area, and winter socials. Come to the next meeting and see all we have to offer!
Dues are $20 per year, payable in January of each year for two people with voting rights residing at the same address. Additional members living at the same address wishing voting rights may join at $5 per person. Guests are welcome at all meetings and events.
