Guests Welcome! We will depart Ingles in Fletcher and drive some great touring roads to Lake Lure. After lunch at “Larkin’s on the Lake” (recent site of the F150 and Corvette club lunches and has a good wine selection for the navigators), we’ll head out to Tryon for our second stop for coffee, desserts and shopping. Then we’ll drive up the hill on US 176, stopping in Saluda for a minute to collect any slower cars. All roads have smooth pavement, worthy of LBC tours. Drive time is 2 hours, lunch and shopping time is 1.5-2 hours. Given that some members may want to linger to shop in Tryon or Saluda, this will be a semi-structured timetable. Meet and greet Ingles 10:30 am, departure time from Ingles is 11AM. Members, please RSVP on Meetup.
April 8, 2017 – Members Only Tech Event – Annual Check Up
BCCWNC car owners are invited to a Tech event aimed at making an overall evaluation of our cars to spot needs before they become a problem. Members, reserve your slot on Meetup. Most owners likely take care of routine maintenance themselves, such as oil changes. However, one of the more difficult things for owners to do is to get a good look at the underside of their cars. We’ll use a four-post lift to view cars from below to greatly expand the number of items checked. Each car will take about 30 minutes for inspection, and a checklist report will be given to each participant.
